I faved the entire series but to save you comment spam I'm just gonna comment on all 3 of them here. The 3 dimensionalness (yes I just made that word up ) of all 3 of these pieces is amazing! Then add in the nearly flawless look of metal ... I'm in freakin awe man.

Hi There!
You have just earned yourself an O.D.D. feature ! congrats!
Today's theme was titled " FRACTAL ART TREASURES"!
ODDS (oibyrd's daily deviations) are to honor the sometimes overlooked artists of dA that I personally think deserve some exposure (and ALSO, to show off people who I think are undeniably talented in their own genre of art, REGARDLESS of their #'s of fav's or pageviews. I like what I like and sometimes artwork isn't featured in the regular DDs because it's popular all on it's own It's a shame, but the admins are only trying to be fair! ). Please click the link below to see your work featured and to view other featured artists. If you prefer not to be a featured artist, just send me a note and I will remove you from the list. Cheers! xoxo Sandi oxo

The best in the series yet. I like the subtle blend of color, and the extensive meshing of however many transforms you've used.

Wow, I think at most I have used 9. So, how many actually make up the tiling pieces?

MichaelFaber In reply to L33tM0b1l3 [2006-04-16 01:15:56 +0000 UTC]

Three transforms set up the tiling.

Wow, another amazing piece, did you get all these from one base flame?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MichaelFaber In reply to Phoenix-22 [2006-04-11 02:30:50 +0000 UTC]

All three from this series started off by pressing the "New Blank Flame" button in the Transform Editor, as with all of my other deviations. All three use different symmetry transforms. The other transforms is what makes all three look similar.

Ooh, I really like this. It looks very metallic, and sort of mechanic as well. Much like *Zueuk 's Nano Forge.
