Hmm, what's that tile doing in the julia flame?Made with an alpha version of `JoelFaber 's next apophysis hack. The tile you see here, as with the ying-yang in [link] is actually from an image file that was loaded into apophysis. Fun stuff i tell you
Head over to his page and tell to not sleep for a few days so he can finish it.

it isn't just an image overlay. it is an image variation. images are loaded in a new tab in the editor, and selected as a parameter

hmmm... and how does one 'load another image into Apo'?
I would love to create something that's not so common looking as most of the fractals that come out of Apo (without using other images)

it is along the same lines as 'blur', except where blur is random in any place in a circle, image decides where to transform to based on how bright a pixel is in an image file. this way you can get a greyscale image into apophysis. still have some bugs to work out to get more than one image file to work though.
