I don't know if you've ever played The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, but this is the same color and look Moon Sugar (an illegal substance in the game) was like!
I like the somewhat subtle divisions (the circles) and your composition. The gradient fits nicely as well. However, it feels...very clustered to me. Also, some parts seem overexposed. Nice, original work, though. I'm guessing this is an unreleased plugin you used?

This one was made with a variation that `JoelFaber made, but has since replaced with a better version. Thanks for the comment!

Perhaps a shade 'overexposed' in a couple of places, but I think we could put that down to its torchlight discovery in a remote cave Briliantly original mineral find

Gemstones set in a a bright, gritty metal?
A space stairway leading down to a high-tech moonbase?
I think you could do something different with the small circle top-right. It seems to be a natural focus point after following the steps.

youre very good at ballancing colour, composition and design, do you do any other art other than fractals? I dont know where you get them from in apo Michael, but its a great new journey!

Thanks for the comment Nick! I don't do any art other than fractals. I tend to spend most of my design time setting up the composition and colouring. The actual patterns come from a super cool plugin Joel is working on.

I rekon now and again you should be flexable and try other media(well all in good time!), you have a good eye for it! What about something like oil painting, classical style? ......oh, just ignor me!
