Yeah it's not always difficult, but being too descriptive can squew other people's interpretations

This reminds me of a PS2 game called REZ...
Very similar...

REZ is a very interesting game if you know the history behind it. The graphics were inspired by the work of the artist Wassily Kandinsky. The cool thing about Kandinsky is that he saw sound as colors and heard colors as sound. His paintings were actually huge complex symphonies to him. Try playing REZ with that in mind.

I found that out a while before I actually got the game, but it didn't surprise me too much. The fact about the colors and tastes, not about the awesome artist. XP
After I played Rez, though, I have one thing to say.
Fruit Loops will never taste the same to me ever again. -_-...

I shouldn't be reading so much into this, I suppose, but I saw blood cells twisting through a blood vessel when I looked at it, which--combined with the title--suggests something about the futility of life. It's one interpretation, I suppose, even if you didn't intend it.

I just started doing fractals yesterday. I couldn't believe when I saw yours! Amazing! It's so full of light and roundness. Congrats on a well deserved DD!

Reminds me of a capilary and the red blood cells flowing through it. (Too much biology revision i think) very, very cool.

wow, so many of these types of thing are dull because thereβs no concept behind them, but this is excellent, and actually picture rather than just aesthetics
great stuff

This is awesome. How do you do these kind of fractals in Apophysis? Yours look so much different. your style is amazing. Very Nice work.

MichaelFaber In reply to SweetThye [2006-06-08 04:19:33 +0000 UTC]
fractals are math, so a transform with random variations (math equations) in it will create random stuff in your image. it takes lots of practice, and learning to learn how to use the variations to create art. math skills aren't neccesary though

SweetThye In reply to MichaelFaber [2006-06-08 14:04:22 +0000 UTC]
Yeah I just mess with random stuff and go with what I like. It's more exciting that way. I never know what it might create. thanks.

This is one of the best fractals I've ever seen. The DDV feature message had it right on: this image does more than merely provide eye candy. It stimulates the imagination, and evokes a sense of wonder; I instantly set my self about the tasks of creating story reasons for the light tunnels and magical orbs...
