I don't normally check out the fractal section, but this caught my eye while reading a recent article about a site getting shut down for ripping off dA artists. I had to have it for my desktop

michael i followed you everywhere, on forums where Zueuk makes tutorials about spiral and blur, but dammin, i can't find nothing which explain how to create something similar to your images...
....yeah i like your way to create fractals a lot, the details and the quality of the rendering, the harmony inside of your works!!
please make a tutorial
i read you make with the gimp sometimes just the light effects and title/sig, but they are well mixed too.
(have you never thinked to expose your works on an art gallery?) Your fractals reminds me some works of the surreal artist Alex Grey.

My gosh. i'm being stalked.
I thought about doing tutorials, like Zueuk did on FracFan, but i decided what i would rather do is make a reference manual for advanced apophysis users. It would have an explanation on how flame fractals are rendered, how they are coloured, what each variation does with tips for usage, and how to create flames fractals with a purpose. it is however a daunting task, and i never got much past an introduction.
