Description
Freedom's Edge [Life Without Wings]~The desire to be free and fly away blinds us from the beauty and happiness that already surround us~
My oldest female oriented image.
My first Fantasy-style image.
My first use of a pen tablet (but like all my work, I use a mouse more often)

This is one of my favourite pieces of yours; there's just something about it... It had a instant calming effect (which is great, cuz I'm wound up, but that's neither here nor there), the serenity of her solitude and deep thought is echoed so well in the blue and purple tones.

That's beautiful I love the look on her face; calm, deadly, patient, but ready at any moment to jump hundreds of feet into the water and escape from whatever she's trying to leave behind. Powerful women don't believe in the impossible. She may not have wings, but damn it, she'll still fly.
...anyways, the actual painting itself: I love the lighting in the clouds right next to her hip. I feel it really draws your eyes to the curve and smoothness of her body. The river, blue with that purple fog drifting over it, is simple, but perfect. I like the skirt too, and the way it drapes over her legs and the cliff. Her feet look a little barbie-ish, but the hair is lovely, in both the few strands that have escaped and the coloring. Overall, it's incredible beyond reason ^^ Congratulations!

A very interestingly executed concept. And the coloring, while simple and with not a lot of textures, really captures my attention. I love the background, and the moonlit night adds to the moody atmosphere.

Cool, though I don't understand what the differences are between that and deviantart's print service thing. I'm new to both.

I've been going through all of your stuff here and I'm really impressed. You seem like a really well-rounded artist, able to tackle many different styles and pull them all off.
Anyway, I love this picture. The colors here are fantastic. I've seen about 4 of your pictures that I'd love to have as prints and this is one of them.
