Here, now, is a good piece that attracts so much curiosity with both its beauty and then its awkward and peculiar construction. (First, it makes one awe and wonder at the skillful work put into it. And then, one further wonders with question after question --which is good, because it means that the artwork engages the beholder into its world).
I see here a push-and-pull of purity and of malice --how the subject is cloaked in white, but also how she has stained the ram with the same blue tint found on her face. Her short figure and small foot... Is she deformed? Is she human at all, or a human-like creature of fantasy?
Interesting... A story is beginning to unfold in my head.
