Description
One of my favorite shots. It's slightly recolored, but since it was so foggy, it was practically black and white anyway.Pentax 35mm.

Wow... really Wow (I note I start a lot of comments around here with Wow... but I say that's due to there being such amazing work here)
This can be viewed on so many levels:
1. Just a really great shot of a couple of trees in fog... very nice
2. Some sort of statement about death, life, the circle of life etc... with the old, dying tree almost toppling off the cliff, and the new, vibrant one taking its place.
3. Something about not giving up, and holding on until the end.
But I choose to view it as
4. a +fav!

I was told to leave well enough alone, but after all my comments I kept looking at this one wanting to get to it so badly. Now that I am here I will say nothing more than I would so love a print of this on my wall.

thats a very excellent shot. i especially like how thick the fog is and how behind the tree everything is faded and farther back nothing can be seen. i think it might look better w/ a black border, but i might just be smokin crack. +fav
