Satin² - a small update of my Satin visual style:Removed user picture from startmenu
- Thanks to psycoB for finding the way to do this -
Refined and changed some images in the startmenu, shellstyle, scrollbars and others

Please I loves themes alot, but i don't really know how to go about customizing my windows. Can someone help cos i have tried those steps in the downloads. My windows refused to start up and i had to do a window's restore. Its back now but i still want to get the themes

That time I updated only Vista SP1 systemfiles, but I'm sure you can grab the proper SP2 shell32.dll here at dA as well

But, ah, the theme doesn't apply for some reason? I double click the "Satin2.msstyles" file but the theme doesn't apply... What am I doing wrong?

Did u patch all necessary system files? There is no problem with the theme for sure. Is it in the proper folder? (windows/resources/themes)?

so wie das jetzt gesehen habe wurde die explorer.exe und die top shell für win 7 +64 bit mit eingefügt. ich möchte mich nochmal für die geleistete arbeit bedanken bei allen die an diesen visuell style tätig waren.

möchte mich auf diesen Wege bedanken für das Theme für Win7,vllt kannst Du es sagorpirbd übermitteln, leider lässt sich die explorer.exe für ein 64 bit System nicht nutzen. Währe es mögchlich das für Win 7 +64bit zu machen ?

Also Sagor ist es leider nicht möglich auf seinem 32bit System die 64bit Explorer.exe zu modifizieren.

Deinen Dank und die Nachfrage bezügl. x64 explorer.exe habe ich an ihn weitergeleitet und gebe dir dann nochmal bescheid. Persönlich nutze ich die explorer.exe aber nicht und bin mit dem Port sehr zufrieden.

wird es einen visuelstyle für win 7 geben ?
satin 2 war mein einziger style für vista weil der für mich der absolute style war. nun habe ich win 7.
falls ja ich habe ein x64 bit system.

Vielen Dank. Freut mich sehr, dass dir Satin so gut gefällt.
Da ich derzeit nicht dazu komme, arbeitet Sagor an einem Satin Port für Win7. Momentan versuchen wir gerade das Benutzerbild im Startmenü zu entfernen
Wenn alles klappt, kommt der Style noch vor Weihnachten raus & müsste auch auf x64 laufen.
