SatinΒ² - a small update of my Satin visual style:Removed user picture from startmenu
- Thanks to psycoB for finding the way to do this -
Refined and changed some images in the startmenu, shellstyle, scrollbars and others

so, ich kriegs einfach nicht hin.
so hab ich angefangen: Vistaglazz runtergeladen uxtheme.dll gepatched und fΓΌr die maximierung der fenster auch gepatched. SatinΒ² runtergeladen und einfach den ordner genomen wo satinΒ² steht (wo die msstyle, Shell und En-us Ordner sind)
alles funktz. jedoch will ich dein shellstyle oben benutzen mehr nicht und ich verzweifle langsam hab gelesen das man die datei als administrator ΓΌbernimmt oder so weis jedoch nicht wie

Die reine shellstyle.dll Datei muss nicht als Admin angewendet werden. Solltest du den Shellstyle oben haben wollen (wie auf dem Preview) brauchst du allerdings noch die gepatchte shell32.dll.
Γbrigens ist kein Patch fΓΌr Transparenz bei maximierten Fenstern notwendig. Das ist im Style schon mit dabei.

The style should work on 64bit as well, just you need a different shell32.dll (64bit compatible) to display the shellstyle on top

I'm not sure about this, because my Vista is 32bit and I never tested this file.
In case it is not SP1 compatible, simply browse the visual styles with topshellstyle and have a look for the latest 64bit shell32.dll

i've been using this theme for about a year now and i figured it's time to come say thank you. you're a genius, you turned windows into a work of art. i still love it as much as i did the day i got it. would you ever consider making a winamp skin to match??

There are a few glassy winamp skins that I used for a while and they matched very well to the theme. But I mainly have wmp11 running, so I never thought about making winamp skins myself.
In case I'll start with a winamp skin, I'll contact you immediately

I love this VS. The only thing I wish was different is the task bar height, it's a little thick for my tastes. But all in all this is one of my favorites styles.

Where do the files in the folder "Vista SP1 Files" go?

These are the patched system files in case you use Vista with SP1. There's no change to the patched files before and further info is in the instructions. Mainly you find them in c/windows/system32
Pls make a backup of your original files first

I use Vista SP1, but everything works without those specific files which is why I asked.

If not, you might have a magical version of Vista

Okay, so this is the second theme I was ever interested in, and both of them did not feature vertical taskbars. Instead, the ugly default vista tastkbar did show up. Could you fix this issue sometimes, please?
