Oh wow, Mika is posting something that's not a crappy doodle and it even has a background?? WOW.

I won't burden anyone with what's been happening as of late but it hasn't been fun at all.

I felt like I needed to finish a piece rather than just leave a rough doodle to rot in my stash, just to see that I still can..

Whatever, back to the art. Lioden based.

A month or so ago both of my prides got new kings. This is Orion. He is the celestial heir I was trying to get since my first king, Alakay.

Orion is the third king of his pride who is related to both of the previous kings by blood (Alakay > Altairous > Orion), which is what I'm hoping to keep as a running theme for this pride.

Today he fathered a celestial base daughter, during the civil war event no less. Even though he's not a bad guy I'm having Orion side with Apedemak just to get the ending (and the stuff) I want, so I thought it was a fun idea to see the daughter, named Celeste, be considered a bit of a blessing.

I was still a tad salty though, because her sister got the royal mane style and my whole project at the moment is to breed a celestial/skyward base heir with a royal mane. -D- So close yet so far... But hey, got a celestial base which is a pain to breed so I can't complain too much. Still got time to breed a celestial/skyward royal maned heir and hopefully this lil girl can help with that in the future. uvu

EDIT: Updated Orion's colours a bit and brightened the sky.
