"Don"t ever cross The White Weasel."

Info: This is the first entry in my Planet Gaia series! I have decided to start with a group of unsavory cartoon mobsters who belong to the notorious Weasel and Raccoon Detective Agency. These characters are obviously inspired by the Toon Patrol from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" but I had developed most of these cartoonish thugs long before I ever watched the film. Out of all these characters, Slim is the one who bears the most resemblance to the members of the Toon Patrol, being both a Weasel and a snazzy dresser.

Slim the Weasel, known by many as either "Wheezle" or "The White Weasel" is not the type of person (or animal) to be trifled with. To most he acts genial and unassuming and exudes an air of mocking hospitality. However when things get rough he is both a brutal brawler and an excellent shot. Wheezle grew up in the dingy underworld of Diamondback City. He is the estranged nephew of the infamous mobster: Smarty the Weasel. Through his inheritance and some crafty gambling Slim made enough money to start his own business alongside his friend and compatriot: the skilled bounty hunter Sooty the Raccoon (Alias: Racoona). Slim owns the business, pays the bills, writes the paychecks and deals with the clients, but Sooty often takes the commanding role in the field. Slim is tolerant of this arrangement, acknowledging that Sooty is the more experienced tracker of the pair. However he becomes quite annoyed if his friend interferes with the negotiations of his business.

Trivia: Within the confines of my own work, Gaians are a classification of fictional characters encompassing a wide variety of anthropomorphous cartoon animals. Their forms are heavily based on a mixture of Disney and/or Warner Bros cartoon animals and characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The result is a pseudo Disney manga character type. Gaians appear in a number of different stories and comics I am developing. Their roles vary depending on which series they appear in.

Clever deduction my friend. If you follow the link in the artist's comments section you can find out just how much one has inspired the other

Oh by the way, the next cartoon animal in this series is being put up today!
