Description
The Kalmand mountain range is spectacular due to its very high mountains. The highest (Mount Kapus) exceeds 17'000 metres. In the small territory of the Orange Astarians (Astariani Arancioni on the map) in the State of Astarien, there is this very impressive group of mountains, more than 10'000 metres high. The force of gravity on thousands of metres of rock walls have formed these massive glaciers, which push down billions of cubic metres of ice every day. The lake is situated at an altitude of about 2'500 metres, so it is possible to see icebergs breaking away from the glaciers as at the North Pole.
