Description
This was an image I had worked on a while back and only now had the chance to put the final touches on, but I'm happy with how it turned out. I worked on this image back and forth in b&w and color to focus heavily on the values. I wanted to populate it as this is a general concept for a personal project of mine intended to be a video game. Some inspiration came from "Shadow of the Colossus" and "Hellboy 2". I hope you like it.Related content

Floating bulb-things are just fascinating. There's a lot of visual tension-and-release in the group on the right side of the image - the freed ones floating in the background, and the ones still tethered in the middle ground, straining to break loose. Nifty stuff!
