Description
Continuing the Silicone based life forms in Pigment Liner Pens. This is still all older work but I'm going to post the rest of my exploration on the subject.More exploration on the environment end of the Silicone life form project. Just rough thumbnails and some rough plant forms again.
edit: the top image/thumbnail wouldn't really be for the silicone project..was just fooling around with some structures on a similar planet environment.

I was reading this book on extra terrestrials back in my childhood and they brought up a possibility of silicon based lifeforms, which are also lithovores, that is, they eat rocks, and earth, would actually be living factories, like massive giant caterpillars, that wouldn't necessarily be sustained by energy as we know it, but would convert the rocks and the elements therein into their own systems.
