-Bio: Daniel, or Danny for short is one engine that is a forced to reckoned with, as he has no great purpose, he is purely evil, and proud of it. He is definetley the kind of engine that is feared by many, and fits the bill of a villain with ease; sociopathic, ruthless, sadistic, and cruel. When he was first built, he was already evil, as he was very arrogant, spiteful, and will carry out his sadistic nature towards anybody he hated and wanted dead, even to those nice, as the worst was that he not only harms fellow engines, he cares little for humans to. He can't stand other cultures, races, or religions, being a proud American, and never hesitates to lash out at anybody who disagrees with him, and rather violently to.

Originally he was sent to the Great Western Railway in 1930 when his evil personality got out of hand, and stayed until the Nationalization of British Railways came into effect, much to his anger, as he hates the British as well. He began having a love for communism and fascism, during the times of both World Wars, and then later the Cold War, and wanted to make a name for himself as a dictator, by bullying other engines to do as he pleases, as when the modernization British Railways came, this drove him even madder, as he grew an intense hatred for diesels as well, feeling they are not worthy of being real engines, and an oppression to steam engines like him. Worse, he especially hate the Island of Sodor too, and all the engines that live there. The reasons he hates them is because he feels they are just too happy and cheerful, and that they fail to see what the world is all about (in his view), and there way of doing things on their railway, especially with how they are very accepting and benevolent to everyone, including diesels. He vowed to find ways to destroy it, and make sure all the Sodor engines are scrapped. Both steam & diesel, standard & narrow, big & small, his hatred towards the Sudrians is the most intense, and the engines of Sodor just hate him, knowing how much of threat he is.

Danny may be just one engine, but don't let that fool you, as he has his own allies by his side, both engines & humans alike. He will only allow other minority groups to join only if they are willing to betray their kind, but that doesn't make him respect them, and he will never allow diesels to join regardless. He is a founder of an evil cult-organization known as the Hellfires. The question is, how is he capable of conquering a railway, and where did he come from really, how could an engine create an evil communist-loving clan, and what are his true intentions regarding Sodor?

-Artist’s Commentary: Hi everybody! Now, here I have prepared, as best I could, a Head-On promo of a character I mentioned a few times before, and here he is now, Danny the Hellfire Switcher. This guy as you couldn't tell from my picture and description, yes, he's a villain, and the main villain in my series, who will appear in my Engines Together fanfic movie, Saving Sodor. Danny was created by both me and my friend Henry a.k.a. Princeofwhales1223, all the way back in 2012. For me, I wanted to create a very intimidating and memorable fanfic Thomas villain, and one inspiration for creating him was Cactus190706's main villain, Steam Engine, as Danny will be just like him, in fact, Rise of Steam is one of my inspirations for Saving Sodor. Now I was worried, as it may be controversial to have a Thomas villain to be racist bigot, especially towards human topics, the fact he loves communism, and cult-like followings, but seeing how many other Thomas fan works have been just as dark, I think I'm alright! His company name, "Hellfire," I got the name from the infamous villain song from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), as I felt it sounded cool for a villain to have an organization name like that. But you're probably asking yourselves, how could I have made what I said in Danny's bio possible, the fact an engine has his own corporation/gang. And where did he come from, as well as his true intentions to Sodor? I won't go into spoilers, so that'll have to wait. But his side promo will come soon, I still gotta draw it, and I might as well mention this to, his was originally meant to be the 100th. Enjoy!
