I see you took inspiration from Maxilos for shoulder articulation, love it.

The head here is perfect, I used to box and the head looks slightly like boxing headgear. my only other suggestion would be pakari nuva, but that wouldn't fit the colour scheme. and also, since I guess the silver represents shorts, the brown metru chest you should change silver IMO.

Not a bad start. I think you should either go "none, or more" with the HF armor. I think having it so minimally throws off the "all bionicle" aesthetic, and doesn't enforce a hybrid aesthetic.

Nah, I think they fit in here. The silver on his thighs and arms is pretty much of the same aesthetic type.

I never said they don't fit where they're at. I just think you either need to add a little more to even things out, or take them off to give it the pure bionicle aesthetic.

Obviously his name should be Domino. Great build, though, looks quite sturdy and thoroughly stocky.
Which axels are you using for the thigh armor, and can you use a different one that doesn't leave the gray spacer/washer/whatever so exposed?

I'm using one two-length axle on the back of the socket piece. What do you mean by gray spacer? :s

Nevermind, doesn't matter much.

Way to go! I wouldn't want to run into this guy in a dark alley unless he was trying to save my life!

Besides the unfinished parts you mentioned, I think the lower legs could use a bit more bulk on the sides. Also I like the idea, but it could use some better gloves. I'm thinking mainly larger, with perhaps more finger definition

Hmm... Someone told me it'd be a good idea to use Metru red versions of the current gloves, so it'd look more boxer-ish. I could step it up and use the Metru shoulder armor instead of the Nuva.

Perhaps using two Nuva shoulders together would great a better glove. Mainly right now they don't look like gloves, and they're too small. Maybe giving a defined thumb could help accentuate the glove look. Or using a large hand design, like the one used on Axonn. I forget if the robots in Real Steel had hands, or gloves though

Hmm, I think Atom just had gloves. I really like the thumb idea btw, I'll give that a try. Thanks!

If you use the metru red Nuva armor, remember that the robot arms that people use for bulky fingers also come in nuva red from one or two waves of playset minifigs, so you may already have some or may be able to find some.
Or so.

Myeah, I'm probably going to use a piston-based system instead. I want to give it a Real Steel-ish feel, thanks ^^
