Description The Hatter is definitely one of Batman's lesser villains, but I think he can be pretty wicked when handle correctly. I've always thought of him as a bit of a child predator, possessing them by his signature mind control.

I think Tim Sale and Jeph Loeb handled him best in Haunted Knight.

Even though the Mad Hatter may not be widely used as a Batman villain, I've quickly grown to like him since watching him inΒ
Batman: The Animated Series. The show's take on him was really great. And mind control- that's a really effective and scary thing
of a villain to do.Β

Good work with Hatter; I only know of him from the animated series (''90s) and the Arkham games.
He could be interpreted as a child predator, with delusions, of course.

One of his minor villians, this is a great piece of him

I remember seeing the beginning of a Mad Hatter arc about a year or so ago, treating his tea parties as if he had an alcoholic's kind of fixation on tea, and staying away from the stuff helped prevent him from going on another crime spree. Finding out that a blond woman he'd met _wasn't_ named Alice, unfortunately...

Very cool. Definitely an under-used villain...

A truly creepy and much underused villain. The Mad Hatter is second only to The Joker in my book. He's a cut abouve modern 'villains' like bane and hush.

Love this design. I think my favourite take on Hatter is in Arkham City. His insanity was clearly evident in buckets there.

Really Nice! I remember in a toxicology class that the hypothesis behind the mad hatter being delusional was the mercury they would use to make hats at the time which would cause neurological damages. In any case, he really has a mind of his own lol.
