Description
This is a Pinup painting I did recently for a line of Chilli Hot Sauce. She's not quite as 'beautiful' as I would like. There's something about her face that looks off to me. Can't figure out what it is though.
This was sketched with pencil on paper first then painted entirely in Photoshop.

Most of what ~Kvlticon said was true, for example the reason the comment about giving her a 'fuller' right cheek is so true, is because it maintains the persistence of neotenous aesthetic defining attribute characteristics.
So the formula would be to avoid chiselled features, as these would be characteristics that a trans-man would possess, not that this woman looks anywhere near as unfeminine as a trans-man, but it is true that she is not as classically aesthetically beautiful she could be.

I think your right. Especially about the cheek. The fact the she is smiling would also push the cheek out further. I should have seen that.
Oh well, there's always next time. It's all a learning curve.
Thanks for your help.

Based off my observation, her nose might be a bit short relative to her other features. Accounting for her open mouth, the length of the bottom of her chin to the tip of her nose appears to be 20-25% longer than the length from her nose to her brow line.
Giving her a "fuller" right cheek, expanding her irises (making them a bit more circular), and a slightly shorter chin might make a difference as well. Tweaking her nose at the nasion (hopefully that's the right term) could help, though I can't exactly describe what is in need of fixing - it's just a trial-and-error deal.
Regardless, everything you have down is great so far, but if you still feel the urge to revisit this and make changes, hopefully my above pointers get you a head start.

Thank you for the detailed response. These are very helpful critiques. I suspected the nose was too short, now you've confirmed it. The other pointers are very helpful too.
Thanks!
