This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

Lore and Description:
Striga-V is an updated version of the venerable Rotharnian rocket launcher that has been around for decades. Produced by Ardox, one of the biggest Rotharnian manufacturer of explosives and other ordnance after acquiring the blueprints from the original manufacturing plant, the launcher was upgraded with polymer furniture, a standardized accessory rail for mounting optics, a folding vertical grip in front of the pistol grip and several other minor tweaks.

The Striga-V is a well-liked and very universal launcher, owing to its manageable weight and bulk and a wide set of available rocket types. Along with the original munitions that still remain plentiful in Rotharnian warehouses, a new set of rockets with even greater destructive power was developed by Ardox, ensuring the weapon remains competitive even in modern times. These range from High Explosive Anti-Tank with either singular or tandem charge, High Explosive Fragmentation intended against soft targets and even Thermobaric. The role of the Striga launcher will hardly be replaced in the foreseeable future, so the weapon will likely remain a common sight on the battlefield and might be developed even further in the future.

Inspiration and Background Information:
The main influence of this design was the Soviet RPG-16 and the German Panzerfaust 3, although you can probably find elements of other rocket launchers in the design if you look for them. 😁
