This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

This is a remake of my original 6K4 LMG design, which you can find HERE .

Lore and Description:
The "Raconis" is a general purpose machine gun produced by Kaneesian. Named after a canine beast which roams the steppes, the machine gun is an ideal compromise between portability and robustness. The weapon is belt-fed and fires the widespread 8 × 56 mm rifle cartidge, traditionally supplied from a detachable polymer box magazine. Integrated features include a folding bipod, an adjustable stock and an acessory rail for mounting optics. The side-opening feed tray ensures a large part of the acessory rail remains rigid, which helps the mounted sights to retain zero. The bipod can be neatly folded into the lower receiver and then act as a grip. The weapon can also be mounted onto a tripod or an armored vehicle.

Inspiration and Background Information:
This weapon was mainly inspired by XM 250 and MG 338, two of the new USA's machine guns.
