Description
Man, gradient shading is hard when all you have is MS Paint. Technically, I was using the sprite editing feature of Game Maker, which allows you to a.) easily pick a color and edit it (like in dark or light) and b.) blur. Using these two options, and very little else, I did all the coloring and shading digitally for the first time.

And I'm pretty proud of this. I wanted just a simple image that conveys these two characters without being just a picture of them, and I realized that between the fishnets and a bow and arrow put the most recognizable aspects of the two characters right in the same frame, so that's how this came up. If you must know, this all started with me imagining what would make a good poster if they ever wise up and make a Green Arrow/Black Canary movie (two leads, equal billing, both of them equal standing as the protagonist.)
