Back story:
Lyla was born blind while her brother, Korri, was born deaf. They were orphaned from an early age and left to fend for themselves, having no one but each other. At fourteen trine old(about seven in gelfling years), the two were gifted to SkekSo, who has since kept the two as assistants(and basically sees them as his own childlings, even if he would never admit it). Lyla has formed close bonds with Cyradil, Alex, Syna, and Tessa, who have to admit, despite her prickly and insensitive nature, she's pretty good to be around.
