Description
A lone Cardinal, stopping by my back deck for a little lunch before enduring the rest of the snowstorm. Several more inches have fallen since this was taken, and more on the way!

Really? I've been finding several people on here that tell me that. I didn't realize just how many places they WEREN'T! We used to only have them in the winter. Now, you can see them pretty much year 'round. More frequent in the winter, though. I have bird feeders on my deck, so, I've got a sea of red when I look out my kitchen and dining room windows in the winter!

This is a great shot! I've got both a male and female pair of cardinals around here somewhere, but they are proving to be an incredibly hard subject for me to capture!

any snow up there yet?? I've been wishing it that way....we've got even more coming on Monday! I can't remember when we've had this much snow...this often, in this part of the country! I wanna go paint my lawn green, just to pretend it's spring!!

We just got some freezing rain tonight.. :/ not much though..
there's snow on the ground, but not very much (okay, it's maybe a foot of snow in some places, but I want MORE!!)
I wish we had more snow.. :/ Last year we had snow in April, which made me happy ^^ Then again, we also had a green Christmas one year.. :/ weather is weird, but I wish it would snow here more often... I should move north more..

I don't think anyone does...especially, the meteorologists! They've just changed our expected accumulations on the next storm from 1-2, then to 3-5, now, they're saying if we get 6-9 inches, that's a low estimate! On top of what we've already got????????? where are we gonna put it all? We really may have to get trucks in here to haul it up to you!
