Description
Here is one that I started working on months ago but never finished. This is Eranthis, my Eladrin Assassin for D&D 4E LFR. She's a fairly no-nonsense character who kills very quickly and tends to cut through BS with a knife. Her most amusing moment came when she was trying to get a bunch of arguing union workers to work on a temple of the Moon goddess. When more civil methods failed, she clapped her hands, got in-between the main arguing parties and loudly offered her solution. "Drop em and lets get this over with." After explaining that this pissing contest could be quickly solved by each party showing the goods, one of the two foremen walked off in embarrassment, the other dropped his pants, and the party fighter did the same. The fighter won and we had their undivided attention. I love having Eladrin characters who are wildly racist and view "lesser species" and their problems with contempt, but have to work for them because they need the money to maintain their standard of living. Her build is fun since Eladrin Soldier gives her a hefty bonus to damage with her +2 Vicious Greatspear. She has one attack that does 1d10+1d6+12+1 for each creature adjacent to the target (and she's only 5th level). Her other At-Will is a melee 4 attack that ignores even superior cover because she attacks with her weapon's shadow. She has teleportation powers up the wazoo as well.
Dungeons and Dragons etc are property of Wizards of the Coast and all that jazz.

My highschool obsession with Eastern and Western polearms does sometimes pay off (like when the D&D site had an April Fools quiz on polearms). Her outfit, for some strange reason, had a strong Gundam influence.

You can tell she is no-nonsense because her arms are crossed. Crossed-armed people don't put up with crap.
Good to see something new from you!

That's why I cross my arms frequently, when my hands aren't in my pockets. I've not yet perfected crossing my arms while my hands are in my pockets but I assume that would be twice as BA.
I know, it's been a while. I also have another pic that should be up in a day or two.

Totally doable. You just need a shirt with breast pockets.

Thanks. Being a rather fragile character I wanted a less rugged looking design for her.

An assassin? With a polearm? Unusual choice of weapon, to say the least.... But make an interesting gaming, I guess.
Ehehehehe... I understand some... I made once a VERY annoying eladrin mage npc-villain, hypocrital warlock, racist toward humans and condescendant toward even elves, pendant and arrogant to the eight... Albeit ironicaly, his powers come from the... "Stars". Which make it he may be working against the 'grandeur of eladrins', in the long run...

Its most likely a flexible spear like in martial arts movies. High Elves (or in this case Eladrin) generally seem to have a more Asian theme than western one. The main trick with the polearm is lashing out with it short of the target and then causing its shadow to extend out and hit em, kinda like Shikamaru from Naruto. She is rather fragile, can blink from shadow to shadow, and has an incredible reach so she tends to stand back and attack from hiding.
As long as you can play a character without irritating the other players with their personality it can be fun to make trouble. It may be all my years of playing Warhammer Fantasy Battles but I just can't see the most sophisticated of the fey races viewing other mortals as equals.

nice ^^
well first again, it is a NPC, and to be frank, a 'Take that' aimed in our games at a poster of WOTC,s forum,a really annoying italian fan of FR. Really pedant know-it-all, 'you killed/betrayed/are WRONG' etc kind of obsessive nerds that give us a bad name (and Eladrin because he loves elves and his canon mastery was highest there).
So, in a way, a sort of personal cathrarsis to a major pain in the ass in the 4th Wars...

Ah, canon guys, the rules lawyers of the story elements. If you think its bad in FR, try running Star Wars.
