sorry if i didnt take time to read all the comments but the ones that caught my eye are the ones concerning his skin... wasnt he really supposed to have had golden yellow skin?
anyway this is perfect..very impressive
i wouldve had the nose quite thin though.

Awesome! One of my fav characters. NOt exactly as I pictured him, but very close and very well done. I wish I could see those hourglass eye of his a bit more. Great work!

The details you put are amazing, I can even tell the wrinkles on his skin...The choice of colors are great too. It seems are if the eyes are burning through you...

Just. Wow.
I just had to Fav this work.
Technical side is perfect. The lighting is just awsome. The golden tinge really makes it believable that he had golden skin. (and yes, to the one reply above: Raistlin has a golden cover on his skin due to the effects of his test. Plus he's weak and sick all the time)
Anyway. those dark lips you put on him makes him look gothic. Really an interesting take on Raistlin. I never really think of him as a gothic guy...but hey, translate him in nowadays, he'd be goth or so i now think.
And..THANK YOU for not making Raistlin a beautiful man that would win any woman's heart. I know most people (or women i should say, ) think he's pretty hot.) but he's not. You'd run away from him if you met him on the street people!

i don't know anything about the series or character but in my opinion this peice is masterfully well done and gorgeous.... the colour and the light and expression.... its gorgeous

Great work, very detailed. Yep he looks too yellow, he's supposed to look weak and ill, but this yellow tone it's a bit too much imo.
The hair is simply perfect, but the nose and lips look too big for his face. The grim expression is great too.

Well, I've just got a biased opinion on Raist-chan I guess, I always thought of him as having a strange sort of attrativeness about him, despite the effects of the test......
But then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you did do a wonderfull job on this. I salute you.

Its how he ended up after he passed the tests to become recongnized as a real mage. Its a mark of his suffering.
