It depends: towers can take as little as 2 hours. This castle took the longest out of all my other buildings, being 3 months in the works.

It was initially designed to be about a quarter size smaller than the finished product. But as development went on I had to make room for the various windows, turrets, etc.

yeah, its better that way, to scale it up a bit to ad detail to it. and it looks more monumental
