Description Yep, redone. I felt I had to redo it after my SSD blew. I first built it back in February. Now I've built it near the Bank Of China Tower, Taipei 101, & Himeji Castle.
Now back to something else I've been working on...

Note: The base on which the 1WTC stands looks rectangular in this upload, after a raincheck it's a perfect 29 block square. That & I've uploaded it to 1280 px as an experiment.

It's really interesting how these models of real world buildings look so authentic from a distance.Β Β

Yeah, they look fantastic in the distance with the render distance turned way up! I was lucky Himeji Castle rendered before becoming completely washed out. The Lighthouse of Alexandria didn't render as I was a tiny bit too far from it though, it's just beyond the BOC Tower.
And for my next one I'll give you a clue: Istanbul

You know one of my favorite suggestions for the New World Trade Center towers was two towers merging into one. So that it would look kind of like a Giant Middle Finger to the rest of the World.
