UPDATE: I recorded a whole speedpaint and commentary on this project and put it on Youtube. I just forgot to post the link here in the description:Β youtu.be/QdAskjrsbxEI know genies can't kill, but I guess this is a loophole to that rule.
I'm slowly getting back into making comics. This one took a lot longer to complete than I planned because I was re-learning Clip Studio Paint and trying out new tools and techniques while I was making it. Also I'm not that great at drawing in the Disney style. I may re-make this one someday.
And I'm aware of all the errors. Aladdin's missing his cape in the fifth panel. It's the first comic I've made in about three years. I'm a bit rusty.

The way I always saw it is that Genie would have known that Aladdin was wishing for him to save him even if he was too unconscious (and underwater) to say so himself. That seems evident by how Aladdin tries to go after the lamp right before losing consciousness.

Conclusion of the movie:
"Jafar used Iaggo to retrieve the lamp and managed to do his "coup d'etat". For his third wish, he asked the genie the power to rewrite spirit. With this, Jasmine change her mind and become the Queen he want. Aggrabah become a land of darkness and tyranny.
As for Aladdin, the Genie grant him two last wishes:
-Aladdin was know immortal
-HisΒ shackles were know indestructible andΒ unopenable
Decades, centuries, millenia passed and Prince Ali keeps struggling for eternity."

I know. That's what I thought when I started, but I guess there's a loophole if the external conditions caused by the wish will kill a person.

I agree. I guess this is true, but obviously, Genie wouldn't do that and Disney producers wouldn't kill there main character like this.
