Woohoo! First page. Sorry it took so long. If I'd worked on it non-stop it would have been done in about 3 days.

So yeah I'm pretty proud of how the shading came out, even though it took ages. This is actually my first time using Adobe Illustrator to do comic lettering. You can make all sorts of speech bubbles with Illustrator, and chop bits off if they butt up against the panel boarder.

Don't blame me if it looks like sunset there. It's not. I just like the idea of orange skies and pink clouds, and judging by the colors Paper Mario fans should easily be able to tell the location. Even if you can't it doesn't matter right now.

Oh by the way if you don't get what they're doing, they're playing "Shy Guy Says", which is a minigame from Marioparty 1 and 2 for the N64 - [link]
