Description featuring Mulan!


I have a couple things to say about her here:

Firstly, the only scenario I can think of where Mulan ever becomes Empress is if Shang becomes Emperor for his impressive military efforts. However, I don't think that's the way the Chinese government works, so in my mind Mulan would become a very high thought of adviser, or something of the sort. Feel free to see her in whichever you chose.

Secondly, I chose this outfit rather than her "normal" outfit because I believe she actually got this from the Emperor's palace. In the movie (the first one) she goes from being in her army under-clothes (whatever you call it) to this dress when Ling, Yao, and Chien Po dress as women.

i don't know if you know this but in the historical tale of mulan when she was going to be made a queen (specifically a concubine to royalty) she committed suicide.

In those days, in order for Shang to be Emperor, the previous one would have to have lost the "Mandate of Heaven" in some way shape or form, like repeated natural disasters or some such. If that happened, the entire ruling house would be under attack by rebellion which would have been justified. Shang would have to make his case that he would be a better ruler and if the people agree, then Mulan would be Empress and Shang would be Emperor.

Very cool. One of my favourite Disney Princesses. This drawing of her reminds me a little of Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Might be the hair. :3
