Finally I to add the comments!So I did this for a contest [link] .
I decided to join it over the week end so I had a tight deadline. REALLY TIGHT! I stayed up till 3 am when it was due ( 12 in PST).
This contest really made me think about a game I felt strongly about. I wanted to depict Wander coming back to rest from an attempt at a colossi... maybe to rethink his strategy while keeping his goal in mind.
It was for the most part a work of love. I wish I had more time to work on it. In fact, I have to do an edit to it ( Agro's harness, bird reflections). Even So I think its one of my favorite pieces.

I love this game too! It was a really good game to inspire artwork because the art work was a work of love. I listened to the soundtrack the whole entire time.

I don't recall there being such colorful environs in the game, but I think that's what makes this such a cool piece: awesome colors.
And I really like what you did with Mono.

thank you. I realized the environmental colors aren't like the game's but every time i see fan art from this game it kinda looks like a screen shot and I wanted to try something different. However, I looked at my piece and I realized I need to add Agro's harness. Thank you for the critical thinking and kind words.

I know what you mean. I...don't think that's ever really bothered me, but I can understand feeling like that about all the fanart made in washed out browns and grays.
And I just realized what this reminds me of: The Lion King. Go figure. -.-
