Finally I to add the comments!So I did this for a contest [link] .
I decided to join it over the week end so I had a tight deadline. REALLY TIGHT! I stayed up till 3 am when it was due ( 12 in PST).
This contest really made me think about a game I felt strongly about. I wanted to depict Wander coming back to rest from an attempt at a colossi... maybe to rethink his strategy while keeping his goal in mind.
It was for the most part a work of love. I wish I had more time to work on it. In fact, I have to do an edit to it ( Agro's harness, bird reflections). Even So I think its one of my favorite pieces.

The picture is beautiful. The shading is great, the water is good, the image of momo in the cloud is nice.
I especially like the red bush it gives a bit more colour to the dominant brown-grey tunes.

This is truly excellent. I can't really decide what I like about this piece most. I love the way you've done the water especially, I love the texture of the cliffs in the background. And I like the way you made the sheen on Agro's coat.

As for me I think I really like the water where he pushed his leg through. Its kind of elegant and I always like to look at what I did there. I also really like how Agro's coat came out

what a beautiful piece. i love this game. although it irked me a little that they allow you to hang on in the last part until your grip diminishes for nothing.

yeah it's after the very last fight where you'll start getting sucked into an abyss. they still allow you to control the character, so we tried hanging on to anything that he could grab on. but it's really quite pointless. it's as if they give you a tiny ray of hope for a different ending, but there's nothing... @_@

We did that too! I know it was pointless after the
fact but it was interesting to have that control... The game is kind of artsy.
I just took it as " They wanted me to feel like i could have done something but I was helpless"
That and I never looked up an FAQ ! ... >.<

yep. no escape. but it did make for a most unique ending. and yes, my heart kind of dropped when i saw his horse take the fall... but luckily the ending showed otherwise.
