Description
This is the pattern that started this account! As always, download to get the full sized pattern.
Cthulhu ends up being a good 11-12 inches tall.
Works best with fleece, but you can make out of whatever.
Directions:
Sew together tentacles. Sew into slit in head-piece, curving the ends of the tentacles down.
Sew on eyes (buttons of your choosing), and sew head together, leaving neck open.
Sew arms, then sew into seams of the body. Sew on head. Leave the bottom of the body open.
(here's the tricky part) Sew sides of front and back leg pieces together. Then sew the angled edges of the soles together (front to back). Then, fold the open edges until the side seams meet, and sew that seam together. Now you have a 3D foot!
Stitch the legs and bottom to the front of the body, leaving enough room to flip Cthulhu right-side out.
Flip out, stuff, and slip-stitch closed.
You can add your own personal touches, (like wings) or you can leave as is.

Hi, I did it yesterday, you can find it here: [link]
I would have prefered with bigger head but, it's not bad for a first try.
(And yes, you do need 2 head pieces)

I'm new to plushie-making, but my friend wants a Chthulhu toy so I thought I'd try it. What's the recommended seam allowance?
