As a fiber person, and a beginning spinner, I love the picture of the Three Fates. I would like permission to do an adaptation of the picture as a quilt. I will not be selling the quilt, but might want to show it. You would, of course, be given full credit for your work.

It's pretty, but how do they symbolize the fates? None of them are fighting for the seer's eye; other than the spool of thread meant to represent life, what are they representing?

Though the Fates are sometimes depicted as fighting over the seer's eyes, it is not really part of the original depiction of them. This link has some basic information - [link]

I love this, the idea of the three fates has always intrigued me, and this is a lovely interpretation of them! I love all of the folds in the fabric as well, really beautifully done.

I always loved the classics and this is absolutely what i mean by that. New artists re-invent the classics with their own twist and it just creates new awesomeness
