I have a two-year-old of my own and I created this image to capture how I often feel throughout the day as I rescue my child from random dangers. Thing is, he does not see the danger. It is a wide world of interesting and beautiful things to him. For a mother, the challenge is to know when to intervene and when to let a child learn through their own experiences.

Our baby's Daddy is ALWAYS there! I know I'm lucky that way, but HE knows his work is never done either...even though he can't do all of it, but I wonder if he wishes he could...
...and I know I'm not the only Mommy who has a Daddy working with her like that...even if it is not common.

When my 5 year old brother desided he wanted to be a merman I showed my mom this and she laughed out loud saying she can just see herself doing exactly this. And with the same, oh not again you silly thing/I am really hopeing he doesnt do this while I am not watching, expresion.
