She's almost an indian. Except for her african nose, and mouth. But she reminds me a lot of indians from Xingu.

Well, that is what I was aiming for! I did want her to be a mixture of african, european and native, in order to represent the south american continent, but the european side didn't pan out, I guess!

This is a breathtaking piece. Your figure has a very strong expression, she absolutely commands her space in your frame. The color palette you've chosen for the background adds interest to the otherwise muted tones of your piece. However, it is these muted tones that allow the viewer to really focus on your subject without much distraction. The stark white highlights are my favorite because they really pop against everything else. You've created a very successful piece.
