Description Speed sketch (10 minutes?) of a Buddha sculpture I ran into in the wonderful Victoria & Albert Museum near South Kensington (A.K.A. V&A). If you happen to be in London and never been, go...I loved it and recommend it.

The unintentionally armless sculpture reminded me of the Daruma dolls I've seen in Japan, but way more serious and elegant. I tried to make the piece as abstract and simple as possible...almost as if the figure is slowly dissolving into the space.
