Description
This is my first Tattoo Design Commission ever. I was asked to design something with Apple Flowers and the number 13 in Kanji. Please excuse the calligraphy - I did consult sources on the correct writing of the character. The design was to be tattooed on the lower back, so I went for a horizontal, assymetrical design.I'm pretty impressed with the result and the photography is quite good!

That must be amazing, seeing your art on other people's bodies.

Yes, your εδΈ looks perfect to me!
I like how the apple flowers and leaves are positioned. Really lively.
Designing tattoo must weigh heavy responsibility. Your vision/work is going to stay on someone's skin (!) and is also very personal.

Aya!! sorry we could not turn up to the embassy!! I had some work commitments!! I enjoyed drawing that tattoo a lot - it is a lot of responsibility, though!!
We'll plan something sometime soon - greetings to C!!

It felt busier than last year somehow.
Also, they had only one panel and one "booklet(of their Manga)" for each artist, which means it was a little harder to see winners' works in that busy environment. Taking turn to look at a booklet and everything.....
Still, there was a great buzz and was lovely to catch up with Sakuna and talking with other fellow artists!
Oh, and no Japanese beer this year, which was another slight downer.

So did you do the tattoo work itself, too or "only" the design? *curious* It does look pretty cool.

No I didn't tattoo it - only the design. I wouldn't trust myself with a needle!

Well, the only thing I ask at the time is that if you get it done, you have to send me back a really well taken picture of the finished tattoo. Message me with what you want and where and we'll take it from there
