"Redwall" is a series of children's book about anthro animals in a medieval fantasy.

In terms of combat style, Thenix fights like Lightning from "Final Fantasy XIII". Always jumping and spamming attack non-stop.

The RedWall world sounds interesting, I didn't know of it's existence. What a coincidende in my world there are different kinds of alien anthropomorphic animals, but there are also humans.

I think I found an inconsistency though. Martin swears on his father's sword that he would never fight again after Rose died. Though in The Legend of Luke, I think he used it. Then again, its been a while since I read that little number.

Naw, Martin never fought directly with his sword in "Legend of Luke". He mostly used it for performing sword tricks.
Anyway, Martin will appear again in a new form in my story as a spiritual guide.

Well, maybe you can do side-stories of other characters. XD I realized that my world-building made my story feel like an MMORPG, where different characters can be the hero of their own stories. Aeriel free-fall melee combat will ensure between mysterious floating islands and structures, and between airships.

You should have seen the mid-air free-fall sword fights and jousts that took place in sub-orbital airspace with critters screaming hot-blooded battle-cries and exchanging blows that lit up the sky and shake buildings with the intensity of the vibrations.

No, this particular idea started with "Redwall" novels mixed with "Final Fantasy VII" back in 1998. XD
But as for the history of the furry fandom, it branched from from the sci-fi/table-top RPG fans during the 80s. At least that's what I heard.
