Description
Edward “Auger” Augutter was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A former heavyweight boxer nicknamed “The Fist” Eddie retired early from the sport and became a world renowned spelunker who specialized in fabricating mechanical equipment for exploring the depths of the earth. Both these skills made him an ideal choice for the Earth Corps team.Auger fancies himself as a ladies man and believes in living the good life. When not on the job he usually goes to the best restaurants, wears tailor made clothes and enjoys being in the spotlight more than his fellow scientists.
Quick tempered and headstrong Auger often argues with anyone around him who sets him off. More often than not Auger will trade insults with his teammate and engineering partner Doctor Derek Bright who seems to take Auger’s fits of rage in stride or dismisses him with a sarcastic comment which only seems to anger Auger even more.
Usually the only victim of Auger’s rage besides the evil Inhumanoids are the TV sets that Earth Corp routinely have to replace because of Auger’s hair trigger temper. More often than not Auger will become incensed by something he sees on TV and hurl his shoe or boot at the screen while ranting like a madman at whoever offended him. Because of several such incidents the team has put their television sets behind protective nets or barriers to prevent Auger from smashing them.
Auger is the most physical and adventurous of the Earth Corp team. This combined with his fiery personality will often get him into trouble when he’s left unchecked. When this happens Auger can usually harness his emotions to give him the strength and endurance to power his way through any tight spots he may get himself into.
The exploration suit has been tested to withstand concussive force of 50 lbs of TNT. Fully insulated and pressure regulated, the suit can withstand external temperature variations from –50 degrees to 8500 degrees Fahrenheit.
The horns on the sides of Auger’s helmet are “piton projectiles” which can shoot off the sides of his helmet and stick inside most any substance and detonate like a 25mm grenade causing massive amounts of damage.
Auger’s suit has a chest mounted power regulator for his arsenal as well as a manual control panel for the suits weapons. The chest also functions as a storage area for extra weapons that can be attached to the drill as needed.
On the “elbow” of each arm are shock coils that act as energy absorbers which help power the suit and can send out powerful electrical shocks.
The right arm of Auger’s suit is a multi functional super strong diamond tipped drill that can penetrate virtually any substance. The drill is a high-speed multi directional pneumatic rock drill that consists of a percussive and rotating system which is capable of 5000 strikes per minute and 400 rotations per minute. Combined together, these functions enable drilling holes into dense rock or any other material.
The pneumatic system can also make the drill function like a jackhammer when its chisel attachment is enabled.
The pneumatic system in the drill can be modified to launch 40 mm grenades and has a flat attachment that can act as a battering ram
Auger’s suit is the most heavily armored of all the Earth Corps environment suits and has been specially designed to protect him from the debris caused by his drilling and blasting equipment.

The cartoon and toyline only lasted about a year. It was pretty intense horror wise and despite it being popular the show got cancelled because of parents complaining about it.
You can see all 13 episodes of it on YouTube if you search Inhumanoids. You should give them a shot, they might inspire your writing.

That sucks, a lot of the old cartoons were always the best ones.
I should and thanks. ^^

I know, that's why I get them all on DVD if I can help it. I was told this week my MASK DVD set is coming in at the comic shop so I'll be watching those all weekend again
Check out Inhumanoids, it's awesome. Plus there are lots of undead zombies and other monsters in it. So you should like it

I'm not sure, but it involved two kingdoms, one of fire and the other ice. The Lord of Fire or king, sends his son and warriors to the kingdom of ice, the ice prince murders them which enrages the king since the ice is starting to spread, his only daughter, who's servant and tiger are murdered before her and is taken away. -Don't want to spoil the rest-
(it's a bloody cartoon :3 It was one of my favorites)

Was this an anime series? It doesn't sound like a regular cartoon that used to play on Saturday mornings.

The outfits, you'll like the female ones. It has a good story but at times, when I was young when I watched it, got me wondering what was going on. I want to get it on DVD since it's still promising :3

I actually have some of the other animated stuff this guy did. Most of it is depressing or weird though. The only thing he did that I liked was part of the animated movie Heavy Metal.

The whole movie is nothing but comedy, horror, fantasy, nudity, sex, drugs, violence and rock & Roll music. Visually it's pretty amazing, you should check it out. Never watch the sequel to it though, it is pure shit.
