So, SO beautiful. I love how smooth everything looks, and the colors are definitely fitting for the nostalgic, warm qualities of autumn!

I am drawn in by the 'art nouveau' feel to this. It amazes me that it is in oil, it almost looks airbrushed. You have beautiful ranges of "looseness' and 'tightness' intermingling. Way to go!

This puts me in mind of some of the classic beauty of the Art Noveau era.. in fact the subject reminds me of a flapper girl- the facial features are reminiscent of the standard of beauty in that day and age..
(of course, I still find it attractive..)
once again the colors are vivid and luminous, the detail work stunning and must have involved a lot of arduous work, long hours, etc...

With the rounder face and voluptuous form (from what I can see), she fits more of the Renaissance standard of beauty.
It makes sense for her to be full-figured, considering that harvest is supposed to be a time of abundance. In fact, that is the same standard for the Renaissance standard of beauty--a wealthy woman was full-figured because she could afford to eat well.
