Description
A WIP of a colored pencil drawing I'm working on. I hadn't meant to submit it in this unfinished state, but my husband told me it looked perfect as it was... He also talked me into editing out a crane in the upper right corner, because he thought the whole thing looked better without it. Aaahhh, the things we do for love.
I'm still going to color it, though, crane and all. I'll post the finished version as it is for comparison when it's done.Sepia ink pen and white charcoal on tinted Canson paper. 11x14".

I would love to see it finished... lines are beautiful but color puts so much more into a picture... as for the Crane... I can see his point, with the crane you may take away from the accents that light up her cheek and face... but then again the Crane is a traditional animal that shows up everywhere in asian art and if you left it out the picture may seem incomplete...
Ok enough of my ramblings, have an awesome one and what ever you decide works for me :-P

I like the way it looks as well but I am sure the colored version will rock. Men fo not clutter so he prolly wanted to see some space in the peice some where. Men! Can;t leave with them, can;t kill them!

Thanks Tony! Well, I know it always depends on the viewer, some might prefer this, some the colored version. I'll probably make this one available as a print since people seem to like it.
