Description
Bush tinymurs are small omnivores with a unique adaptation. Hibernation. They can do it two times a year, in winter and summer. Since they build nests out of leaf litter and dead grass, they have a safe place to retreat to and sleep through the toughest times. These nests are built in the dense bushes of the savanna, usually in thorny species for extra protection.
