This isn't a great reboot, but it is decent so far. Much better than TTG!This is subject to change when more episodes are released.

Fair enough. Personally this review is a bit dated and I would probably give the show a B-/C+ at this point.

This reboot is horrible. I thought Friendship is Magic was bad, but this one takes the cake!

I would've gave it a C+. It has its faults, such as some bad episodes, some bad character designs It feels like it wants to be its own thing and move away from the shadow of the previous series .
It feels like the higher ups are holding it back . They want it to appeal to the Steven Universe crowd and the Nostalgia grown adults. Which, why it fails because the higher ups miss the point . It should unleash itself and be a bit violent , bringing back the old villains, the narrator and Miss Bellum. Overall , this cartoon isn't my PPG and that's fine. The next generation should get their own PPG . Also, hating on the reboot just feels like a low hanging hatred fruit .

He does this to everyone who doesn't like TTG, or even says the slightest bad thing about it. And to be honest, I used to not mind TTG, but then it got too mean-spirited for my taste - and I repeat, for my taste, and I do not have poor taste.
And also, I'm still not over the fact that that... that brat fav'd one of my artworks. He most likely did that so that he could protect his reputation, and get me to side with him. Well, guess what; I refuse to side with a brat who doesn't accept any opinions that differ than his. I know. I've ranted about others' opinions, but I actually had a stronger reason for it, and that was because there are at least some people who, quite frankly, have a very baseless reason for that opinion (like "Thomas the Tank Engine" and "Sesame Street" being "kiddy shows"; sure, the latter show doesn't get as much bashing for that reason as the former does, but there are still some people who do it).

Eh it's fine to me I like to watch it
The animation and art style is very good, though sometimes the girls make...weird faces
I hate that they changed the girls' voice actors but their new voices don't suck that bad I guess
The girls are more or less the same with very few OOC or flanderized moments
Some of the storylines are actually decent while the others could be better, and the humor seems to focus about 2/3 on modern stuff and 1/3 on original homes, and there are some touching moments
But really to me I guess it doesn't suck as bad as some people say it does

You are really easy when it comes to marking. Here's my opinion:
Animation - C+/68% (Due to all the animation errors, as well as those thin outlines that don't match the simplistic character designs. I only like the backgrounds)
Writing - D+/58% (The episodes are lackluster, with nothing interesting going on.)
Characters - F/40% (The girls are just addicted to social media now and overuse memes. Even the villains look harmless now.)
Music/Intro - D/55% (Uninspired intro.)
Enjoyment/Average mark - D/55.25% Pretty bad show overall.

Make me choose between this and TTG (F-), and I'll pick PPG in a heartbeat.
After all, TTG is so bad Channel Frederator made fun of it in one video. Forgot which one. But I can assure you it wasn't joking around made fun of.

Your Report Card on the reboot is the same as my impressions on the series. It's not bad, but it might need some improving. Hopefully, if it gets renewed, then Season 2 is a better choice for it's improvement.
