Sonic Boom is honestly one of the most underrated animated shows of the 2010's IMO. Yes, Rise Of Lyric was bad, but I really didn't let that game get in the way of enjoying this show. Yes, I'll admit, some of the episodes have a writing issue, some jokes don't really work and the animation is kinda inconsistent. But this show is basically what Teen Titans Go failed at; being actually entertaining and fun. For one, the writing does takes some risks to tell really good jokes here and there, the animation is still really good, and the characters are still likable with their new personalities. It goes to show that a show biased on a bad game can be really good.
I just hope Fire And Ice will redeem the sub-franchise after it's poor debut with Rise Of Lyric.

I watched all of the episodes that have aired so far,and I can honestly say the shows pretty meh,nothing bad, nothing outstanding, just a forgettable kids show that will probably please its target audience but offers very little for older viewers.Β

I have seen all the episodes as well and the only episodes I didn't enjoy were Buster (Bad) and My Fair Sticksy (Meh). I liked all the other episodes so far.

The show is aimed primarily at children between the ages of 6 and 11,so I cant fault for being weak from my perspective ,but there defiantly some lying in the behind the scenes videos that I watched before it aired where they claim thatΒ they have intelligent and clever writing, people will just say anything to get viewings.Β

I gave it a try, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. There are some things that might need some polishing, but overall, it was a bucket of fun and there were plenty of good jokes. Also, I adore Sonic's snarky side, and they used it well here. It helps that Sonic's likable as well.
