I'd consider Star Vs The Forces of Evil to be an animated Atrocity myself! It's basically a Poorly Done, Overly and Annoyingly Girly, Low-Quality version of Sailor Moon, but without all the stuff that made Sailor Moon good. And Star is so nerve-wrecking, about as unbearable as Bubsy to me.
WHY THE HELL DO YOU FIND THIS GARBAGE OF A SHOW GOOD?

Come on, the show's not that bad, have you watched it till the end? I say Its one of the best series Disney's made next to Gravity Falls.
Those two are basically the only shows I watch on Disney...

I have seen enough of it to get a good opinion on it, though not every single episode.
Though maybe I was being a bit too harsh on it. An Animated Atrocity goes above and beyond bad. This isn't Animated Atrocity Level.
I apologize for my outburst. Just that people keep telling me stuff like this about it, and I had enough.
I do like Gravity Falls though.

Thats ok, I respect peoples opinions, but the way I see it, the show's just starting out and it will probably develop more plot over time...
I also thought it was just some wacky half-assed show when i saw the commercial so I ignored it for long time until very recently, and it was wacky but the writing was suprisingly good...Like Adventure Time mixed in with some Steven universe stuff.
There's very little good TV shows nowadays... Β

although it's one of my favorite cartoons on recent Disney (not beating the shows like gravity falls, but still), I agree with the grade. it still has its own flaws (some "lovely" close ups, some flat falling jokes and some unnecessary plot points) and it still needs improvement as you mentioned *shrug*

My thoughts (so far)
Favorite Episode: Diaz Family Vacation
Least Favorite Episode: Brittney's Party (it's an okay episode)
Favorite Character: Probably Ludo
Least Favorite Character: Brittney
Animation and art: Probably my favorite thing about the show even though it looks like Steven Universe and Gravity Falls.
Writing and humor: It's flawed to be honest. The humor needs a little work.
Music: Catchy intro (I like the instruments more).
Enjoyment: It's enjoyable, but it's not the best Disney cartoon.

So far I think this show is alright, I really like the animation/art style and the two main leads but the storylines and writing doesn't keep me coming back. In my opinion, this show is a simplified edition of magical girl anime, particularly the anime Familiar of Zero. The only differences are she is NOT a tsundere, she CAN cast a spell to save her life, she DOESN'T treat her companion like shite, and to cap it all off, she comes to HIS world instead of vice versa...
