Fun fact: this show was part of an inspiration for a book I wrote in 3rd grade.

To me, this show is decent. I'd give it the same grade as you. It's definitely one of the better modern Nicktoons - far from the best overall Nicktoon, but definitely better than other modern Nick duds like Fanboy and Chum Chum, Planet Sheen, & Breadwinners.

i liked this show it had fun chars(especilly kitty katswell and the chemeleon they where my fav) some awesome animation a fun premice and some entertaining storys
hell the show even managed to gain a cult following among the furrie fandom so theres that 2Β

Yeah. It wasn't great, but it was decent. My favorite characters are Kitty, Cheif, Snaptrap, and Chameleon.

my main problem with the show is the writting, i get that it tries to be stupid and fast passed. But knowing butch hartman and how he handles jokes, it leads to some serious passing issues, most jokes come off as either forced or prodictable, and some characters or stories come off as little generic.

yeah some the jokes caught me off gaurd and made me laugh. for example, theres a scene where dudley gets hypnotised to be dress up as a princess with a jack hammer then starts to go nuts on everyone. Or a scene from the episode "doomies" where the audice throughs hand grandes at snap strap while crying to the back of the stage.

Overall I find this show to be just annoying and bland,i watched a couple of episodes and immediately lost interest in he series.
This might be Butch Hartman`s worst show yet.

Yeah, Tuff Puppy is kind of dumb. But it is usually so over-the-top that you don't even care.

I never cared for this show. I felt like it had all the typical Butch Hartman "problems" (annoying running gags, overly-simple characterizations, overly-simple logic, totally flat-looking animation, immaturity, [switches the usual gender stereotypes out for] species stereotypes, ETC...), but very little of the good stuff that his other cartoons like Fairly Oddparents of Danny Phantom had to balance it out. That being said, I can still see people liking it for some of the reasons you mentioned.

I agree with you on all of those things except for the animation. I love Butch Hartman's animation. I think this show has some funny characters. It's a show I would watch when it is on.

Yeah, it's just a personal thing with me. I don't like really flat-looking, thick outline animation, and I feel that it makes certain things, like scenes where Timmy dances, for instance, look really awkward, but it's pretty easy on the eyes and works well for basic dialogue and comedic scenes.

It's a great cartoon. The characters, the art style/animation (although there are times where they sorta cut corners) and the premise are what really make the show for me. Butch Hartman certainly knows how to make a cartoon. But I agree the writing is probably the weakest point although it isn't weak all the time. And like you said, the jokes can be hit or miss. I would say they should have toned down the amount of a jokes/gags/slapstick just a tad bit.Β
But honestly, I enjoy it for what it is. It's pretty light hearted and fun to me.

Its one of three nicktoons that are still good. The other two are Korra and TMNT.
