Hey guys,Thought it was about time to submit a bit of an update on what I have been up to. Working on this transformer for an advanced 3D project. I have animated the transformation and I am currently playing with lighting and setting up the render.
Bit of info about this guy: He is an Autobot, transforms from an ipod... and he is really really small.
Inspired by the recent transformers movie. Concept and design is pretty much all mine but I have looked at the movies transformers as I have made this.

i always love the mountain dew drink machine in "Trasformers" because well, its just funny having one of them walk around shooting drinks out...No Real Danger There...

Yeah cept itll be super heated and cause science itll be like Chicken Little's Soda Jetpack hitting you in the tummy in which case youll end up like Deadpool's Friend C.F. with a nice Red Wound there....
And Thats all depending on if Dispensor(yes that is his Confirmed Designation the other one is Mtn Bot)is feeling....Nice(Decepticonly Speaking)

I'm not a fan of the iPod (or anything made by Apple) so if I had made this, he would be a decepticon haha But nonetheless, it's awesome!

or is it all object wif lambert and blinn
im working on a transformer 2 but it looks crap next 2 this

Hey man, it's just all simple shader based. I can't remember the exact materials that I used in this render, but I don't think that they were far from lambert and blinn. It's more about the lighting that will make or break the render. Oh yeah and I didn't use any normal or bump mapping, just a bit of texture mapping

is the transformation rig wif a skeleton

I worked on it slowly for a class for about 1/3 of a year. The rig has has a skeleton, but in the transformation most of the pieces are individually keyframed

or maybe the all sparks was close to it
well you should try to make a one transform into PSP OR DS OR lets be little big maybe a ps3 or wii and xbox 360

Um not too sure what you are trying to say there mate, but I used Maya to model & render the ipod.

That is such a cool little dude! I design Transformers, and I have an Ipod one (not yet drawn), and I wish he would look like this. Good job on the 3D
