Takes influence from it, along with the M-41A and the AUG.

So wait, KHA is building arms for both Esceea and Rothan? And they probablly masacred that village on Hurot island? Am I guessing right in assuming Benjamin Hale's detractors Β are roght to be worried about him?
And seriously man when are you fisnishing that book cause right now I'm just about pumped energyugh to read it?

Well, I won't give too much away about that . But KHA does supply (by proxy) Rothan SOF through their shell corporation Covex.

The village massacre I've since removed from the plot. Wasn't Hale, but it was a somewhat tenuous plot point linked with the character who was involved. Have the means to achieve the same results that that particular part would have done with a simpler route

Still working my way through the plot before I start writing. I may put up a short story on here first, which revolves around the Naxos Event.

Could actually do a few short stories (though not before my main) relating to the backgrounds of various characters. If this was a video game, that's a whole host of DLC content

Awesome, but I can't imagine that magazine holding forty rounds of 10mm rounds double stacked. It doesn't seem long enough or wide enough. Just giving some analysis

MOAB23 In reply to skfrank [2013-09-03 01:58:17 +0000 UTC]

Probably right. I was originally going to make it a quad stack (which would make sense for a firearm designed for Rothan's since they already use that type) but changed it. Triple stack with thirty rounds might be a more reasonable choice. Makes you wonder where the 99 rounds for the M41A were hiding

I'll look into updating the info.

Thanks for the comment

awesome weapon, awesome backstory. on a side note, i will take five of these.

just kidding, this is too futuristic for my fictional country's soldiers. they would have trouble operating and field-stripping this beauty

If it's any consolation the guts are even more barren than a Kalashnikov

but they aren't used to eletrically-operated, hi-speed low-drag weapons. instead they operate modernized versions of the FN FAL and Mosin-Nagant

Ah, I see how that would be a jump.

yup, they'd probably toast their fingers in all of dem circuits and smash the scope of anger for not knowing how to use the advanced button configurations.

surprisingly, my army is slightly more advanced technologically than your average modern-day army, i mean, the mosins are currently being replaced, the FAL is heavily modified and not our main rifle, and our government tend to issue not-shitty equipment to troops, instead of waht most modern armies do. we issue our soldiers the best so they can perform the best.

our air force uses Helmet-mounted displays and the usual HUDs as well, but the latter are for backup in case the HMD fails.

however, our army likes to keep some degree of classic on it, while not leaving technology behind.

i've still got to settle some things down, though.

Nice.

Aside from a futuristic connotation, I originally settled on electrical initation simply so I could call my guns pulse rifles
